Area B expands its underwear portfolio

Since 2011, the Italian-based company Area B has been manufacturing and distributing the underwear and beachwear collections of many prestigious international brands. The experience in the intimate apparel and swimwear industry gained over the years has broadened their horizons in the field of licenses in Europe leading them to feature a wide portfolio of designer and fashion brands, which currently includes Karl Lagerfeld for beachwear, Gas for beachwear, underwear and lingerie, Iceberg for beachwear and underwear, North Sails and Aeronautica Militare for underwear today. In 2021, Area B is strengthening its position in men’s underwear by focusing on quality branded basics. Starting with the SS 2021 swimwear collection, their worldwide license agreement with Iceberg has been broadened with the launch of a men’s underwear capsule collection.

The FW 21-22 debuting licenses (Aeronautica Militare for Europe and Russia and North Sails for the EMEA region) transpose into underwear the signature design codes of the two brands: an army-inspired style and a military green palette for Aeronautica Militare, a yacht&sail spirit and a sustainable choice for North Sails, which in this very first intimate apparel collection is featuring “green” materials such as bamboo and organic cotton. In addition, both Iceberg and North Sails’ product packaging is made from recycled materials.
