Aleksandra Pavlikova, Smolensk lingerie store owner, introduces us to Beletage after its restyling in April this year.

Aleksandra, tell us, how did you enter the lingerie business?
In January 1996 at the Moscow lingerie exhibition I got to know the brand Triumph. By the end of February, I had already opened my first underwear store in a shopping center. At that time it was the one and only store in Smolensk. In 1999 we opened our own separately independent store in the historical center, which we called Triumph. Besides lingerie we also sold clothing by German brands. In December 2006 Beletage shop was opened in a new fashion gallery Tsentrum. At the beginning of 2017 renovated the store and on the 26th of April we unveiled it to our clients.
What would you say your store’s strengths are?
The shop has a modern design and is situated in the center of Smolensk. The shop covers 145 m2, and the sales area is equipped with four large fitting rooms. In total we have six sales assistants and there are always three in store. Our team was formed a long time ago: some have been working since the beginning of the 2000s and some people even came from our other store. Our newest team member has been here for five years... That tells you how friendly the atmosphere is in our team, it also helps develops closer relationships with our clients and guarantees the best service.

What is special about your product range?
In our shop the clients can find a rich product range of corsetry and day lingerie, as well as nightwear, legwear and swimwear. Before we had about twenty brands, now the product range is smaller, but we are always in search of new interesting brands.
Which brands do you have at the moment?
Among corsetry these are Maison Lejaby, Felina, Chantelle, Simone Pérèle, Luna and Triumph, we offer nightwear with Nota and Oryades, legwear by Falke and for swimwear Felina and Oryades.
Which brands are you planning to add?
Good lingerie brands with good fit and loyal pricing policy, creative homewear made of natural materials and interesting swimsuits.
