Lingerie Shows in Moscow

The lingerie industry gathered in Moscow early this September with showroom presentations as well as two prominent trade shows: Lingerie Show-Forum, followed just a few days later by CPM Body & Beach.

September is an intensive month for the lingerie industry in Russia. Lingerie Show-Forum took place in early September, as well as CPM, featuring the updated segment of CPM Body & Beach. As media partner for the events, Intimoda magazine provides coverage of the trade shows in this report.

Lingerie Show-Forum

From September 1-9, the Lingerie Show-Forum took place in Moscow’s "InfoProstranstvo" event-hall where over 150 exhibitors presented 330 brands across price segments ranging from low-medium to premium. The exhibition is characterized by a large number of fashion shows and business talks. Intimoda also played an active role: Intimoda’s editor presented a conference on S/S 2019 Lingerie Trends.

This session of the trade show put women's health in the spotlight, with a focus on breast health. Three topical experts presented the critical function served by a correct bra-fitting and how to prioritize breast health.

CPM Body & Beach

From September 4-7, the exhibition CPM Body & Beach, organized by Messe Dusseldorf Moscow, was held in Moscow's Expocenter. 160 brands from 21 countries presented their S/S 2019 collections of underwear, swimwear and loungewear. The space was also home to CPM Body & Beach Talks, a business program comprised of seminars and fashion shows from both Russian and international brands.

Intimoda led special session conferences dedicated to Beach S/S 2019 Trends and Beach 2018’s Bestsellers. A special event and fashion show was then held to unveil Intimoda’s NEW FACES finalists: Aruelle (Monica Jankowska), Ana Popova (Anna Popova), Lacerini (Julia Bobrova), Nudo Lingerie (Olga Lyubimova), and So-Sexy.Me (Elena Luchkova). Intimoda’s team also had the honor of announcing the winner of the summer session, the sports swimwear brand VS World, presented by co-owner Anastasia Nikitina. Now in its second edition in Moscow, the program was created to scout and support emerging brands from Russia, Ukraine and the CIS. The winner of the winter session, Le Journal Intime, received an exhibition stand free of charge, courtesy of CPM Body & Beach trade show.

Ellipse fashion show at the Colombian Embassy

Colombian lingerie brand Ellipse hosted an exclusive VIP fashion show to unveil their new collection “Hues of the Soul” at the Colombian Embassy, hosted by the Ambassador of Colombia, Mr. Alfonso López Caballero. The guest list included Russian celebrities as well as Francesca Spinetta, Editorial Director of Intima Media Group, and the Intimoda team.
Intimoda was present at both trade shows, featuring the magazine’s new September issue, while the Intimoda team was delighted to have the opportunity to meet with its valued readers and partners.
